EDUCATION SERVICES

A big challenge in reconnecting with agriculture in the North has been finding opportunities to learn from established Black Farmers or curriculum highlighting the many ways black farmers have contributed to agriculture beyond the period of enslavement. We are building space to continue to share this invaluable information through leading workshops and hosting Volunteer days. In the coming years Black Yard plans to offer education packages for schools and mentorship in the forms of internships and Apprenticeships on farm.
